O Galaxy A15 has slowly but surely made its way into various markets, but Samsung has not made any official announcement about the phone until today. Both the 4G and 5G variants of the affordable Galaxy phone were introduced today, which is a big surprise, considering Samsung just launched its new flagship lineup, the Galaxy S24 series. As the title suggests, the Galaxy A15 is one of the most affordable 5G phones available in the United States. Customers looking for a cheap Android smartphone with 5G can purchase the Galaxy A15 for just $200 at Best Buy. T-Mobile is also selling the budget-friendly device, but you’ll have to shell out $228 right away.
The phone is available in two colors: Blue Black and Light Blue. Keep in mind that if you purchase the phone from Best Buy, you will also receive a free $25 gift voucher and a 1-month free subscription to Microsoft Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. We expect other retailers and carriers to start selling the phone in the coming days. Despite being one of the cheapest 5G phones in the US, the Galaxy A15 does not make many compromises when it comes to specifications. For starters, Samsung has decided to include a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage (expandable via microSD).
Additionally, the Galaxy A15 5G comes with a 50-megapixel triple camera consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
As for the screen, the Galaxy A15 5G features a large 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, which is more than decent for such a cheap phone.
Other key features of the Galaxy A15 5G include a 13-megapixel front camera, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging, and Android 14.
